Tempting as it is to depict my subject matter in full detail and perspective, I continuously strive to subtract, simplify and suggest while keeping in mind how the viewer experiences subject, color, line, texture, and ambiance. The result is an exciting yet delicate balance between realism and abstraction that straddles Contemporary or traditional interiors and curation. In reality collectors acquire art to enjoy and complement other art whether it be architecture, interior design, photography, sculpture or paint.
